At the Fountain Care Hospital, maternal and children's health is one of the priority areas of healthcare. However, without the basic equipment required to support neonatal cases, babies born preterm at this facility were referred elsewhere for care. Since many families in this poor community did not have the financial means to travel 100 plus miles to another facility, the lives of the babies were usually at risk. CLT provided the equipment required to set up a Neonatal ICU at this facility.
