DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1492008828909{margin-top: 40px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_images_carousel images=”3114\,3115\,3113″ img_size=”1159×691″ speed=”4000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”] Cardiology Clinic Project\, Ghana: [vc_column_text]This Annual Fundraiser will benefit the Cardiology Clinic Project. This project will provide Cardiovascular Heart Disease (CHD) services in the Northern half of Ghana. Currently patients in this part of the country\, with average household incomes of $2 per day\, have to travel 10 to 15 hours\, to access these services. Most cannot afford to make the trip and resulting impacts of not having these services has resulted in countless fatalities. CLT is working with the Wenchi Methodist Hospital in Ghana\, to develop a Cardiology Diagnostics and Treatment Clinic\, to address this problem. \nThe first part of the project which involved the demotion\, repurposing and renovation of 5 rooms on the WMH campus (to house the clinic)\, has been completed. The current project is focused on purchasing the equipment – Holter monitors\, EKG machines\, Stress test equipment\, an echocardiogram and other equipment.
