Mafi Wute, is a village in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region of Ghana. The Mafi Wute village is a very poor community with an average income of less than $1 per day per family.

Wute Kindergarten/Primary School comprises grades KG through 6th and is the only elementary school that supports the Mafi Wute Village and 4 surrounding communities with an approx.  the population of 1,500. Students usually drop out of school due to inadequate resources required to keep the students focused, engaged, and successful with their academic work. Most students currently do not have: school uniforms, school supplies, furniture, and in many cases some go without a single meal during the entire school day.

Your sponsorship will help students stay in school and be successful: Group/class sponsorships will provide basic yet critical supplies needed for all the children to be successful in school. This includes

  • 2 sets of school uniforms per academic year
  • Provision of furniture for each class
  • Provision of stationery (including note pads, pens, pencils, and writing supplies)
  • A hot lunch twice a week

Your help with sponsoring 1 or any number of kids is truly appreciated.
